The Lynde Institute for Dermatology is a full-service, multidisciplinary dermatology clinic under the care of our Chief Medical Director, Dr. Charles W. Lynde. Our team of healthcare professionals includes dermatologists, family physicians, nurses, medical estheticians, and a plastic surgeon. Lynde Dermatology prides itself on providing scientific, evidence-based dermatology solutions for its patients. Our clinical team works collaboratively with our physicians to deliver the best care possible to our patients.
**Position Title**:
Medical Reception
**Responsibilities**:
The Medical Reception staff provides, under the direction and supervision of the Senior Manager, medical reception and administrative support to facilitate the medical and esthetic needs of patients in dermatology.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a clinical or medical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Accuro Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform considered an asset
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong time management capabilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Passion for patient focused evidence-based medicine
- High level of professionalism
- High level of proficiency in customer service
- A willingness to learn new techniques and develop procedural skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an inter-professional team as well as independently
- Certificate or Associates degree in a clinical program and/or Medical Office Administration is considered an asset
**Compensation**:
- Remuneration will be assessed and offered based on education level, clinical experience, and applicable skillsets
- Hourly base pay and vacation pay following a bi-weekly pay schedule
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
