Hours of Work: 16 - 22 Hours a Week

**Position Overview**

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the building and grounds at Jericho Centre. The key focus of the Facility Manager will be to maintain the building and property as well as to foster good working relationships with our current tenants and to secure and provide support with future rentals. General administrative skills are required as you prepare, monitor and report all property financials as well as support the subleasing of space as needed.

**Job Functions**
- Maintenance (30%): To maintain the building and property of Jericho Centre by being proactive with upkeep of the property. Must be able to handle physical activities related to building and property maintenance.
- Facility Management (20%): To provide excellence in supporting the needs of our tenants which could include; problem solving, managing relationships, supporting new leasing contracts, overseeing the facility calendar,etc.
- Administration (30%): Functions needed to support Jericho Faith Society (JFS) with day-to-day communications and marketing, as well as Jericho Ridge Community Church (JRCC) staff relations.
- Financial Management (20%): To prepare invoices, produce regular financial reports and handle other related compliance matters (i.e. with our accountant, the City of Surrey, Societies Act, etc.)**Job Requirements**
- Ability to maintain and upkeep the building and the grounds
- Flexibility and the ability to work with a variety of people (potential renters, trades, cleaners).
- This flexibility also applies to hours since there is an ‘on call’ nature to this role (responding tothe security alarm, meeting potential renters to tour the facility outside of office hours).
- Organizational skills (coordinating a calendar and rental groups)
- The ability to work towards the success of the building through marketing
- The capacity to acquire new skills in a team environment and with a teachable attitude.
- Skills or aptitude in publically-facing sales and customer service (responsive, self-confident).
- Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and priorities with professionalism & warmth

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 22 per week
