Motion Fitness Red Deer is looking for reliable staff for our Bower Place Mall location

**We are looking for part time and full time employees.**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greets potential new members and creates the “First Impression”
- Sells all products and services
- Liaison between members and Membership Office: Including prospects and current members
- Attends monthly departmental meetings
- Maintains professionalism when not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-related
- Other duties as assigned

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**
- Must be highly motivated and energetic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- An understanding of health club operations
- Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary

**SUPERVISION**:

- Supervision and training will be given by the Manager

**REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE**
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in customer service and sales is a requirement.
- Experience in a health club or the hospitality industry is preferred

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Involves standing for most of the working hours

Bonus:Effective immediately upon hire:

- Membership:Use of the gym facilities at no charge i.e. Free membership for the employee (**conditions apply)
- Full time staff will also qualify for Health Benefits.

After 3 months’ probation:Immediate Family can join for a discounted membership. If at any time the employee quits or is terminated, all contracts for family members will increase to a regular membership rate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekends as needed
