**About the Job**:

- Assist with full cycle management of projects from project initiation to post-construction
- Use building mechanical systems and construction techniques to come up with solutions to potential design or on-site issues
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other specialty consultants
- Site reviews / field investigation
- Coordinate and run meetings internally and externally
- Assist with interpreting and implementing applicable codes and regulations
- Develop budgets and cash flows
- Develop / review shop drawings
- Carry out contract administration duties
- Evaluate the quality of technical design and supports activities which assure a high level of technological quality throughout the firm

**About You**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent schooling/ experience
- Registered or eligible to register as an EIT with EGBC
- 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong technical writing skills and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Ability to engage in creative and critical solutions independently and in a team environment
- Check work of others for accuracy and completeness
- Work with team to meet project budget and schedule
- Ability to direct and mentor team members
- Technically proficient in Bluebeam Revu, Autodesk CADD/Revit, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Project
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
- Relevant building science and construction industry related experience
- Strong knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE 90.1, NEBC, and relevant standards
- Receive and offer constructive criticism and communicate professionally
- Scale process, design and effort as required by various roles on projects
- Valid drivers license an asset
- Willing to undergo security screening (similar to criminal record check)
