**About the Role**

Willowglen Systems is looking for a **Contract Analyst** who will be responsible for contract management activities such as overseeing agreement compliance, risk mitigation, leading meetings, and contract administration activities. Participate in procurement activities such as negotiating terms and conditions and drafting the appropriate documentation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Reviewing contract terms and conditions for various risks, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, potential disputes, and financial obligations.
- Negotiating favorable terms with other parties on behalf of Willowglen.
- Drafting contractual provisions and amendments to contracts when appropriate.
- Interpreting contractual requirements and collaborating with internal departments on contractual amendments, correspondence, and other required documentation.
- Liaising with internal project teams when disputes arise and coordinating the response.
- Examining contract clauses, liabilities, stipulations, and obligations, and recommending and drafting provisions and amendments accordingly.
- Advising internal departments on innovative or cost-effective ways to comply with their contractual obligations.
- Reviewing and advising on internal policies and procedures.
- Providing assistance to external counsel for any disputes (including assistance drafting or preparing documents, coordinating discoveries or preparing any internal parties).
- Providing accurate updates on all outstanding contractual documents to management as required through required systems or tracking mechanisms.
- Building and maintaining a central repository of agreements across the organization.
- Developing a risk matrix to streamline the review process.
- Researching and assessing products and procedures for compliance with regulations, etc. and making recommendations to the executive team about any updates to the current systems or policies in place.
- Responsible for assisting in client-initiated project audits and project-specific financial audits as needed.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in business, Law Degree or adequate experience working with contracts.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in contract management
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership and professionalism.
- Able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and internal teams.
- Good working knowledge and/or experience negotiating a variety of commercial arrangements.

**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with large infrastructure projects is an asset but not required.
- Familiarity working with any contract management systems a plus.
- Knowledge of commercial law is a plus
