Operations and Purchasing Coordinator

**Abatement Technologies** is looking for an efficient, organized, and confident **Operations and Purchasing Coordinator.** Want to join a growing company that provides innovative and reliable solutions to its customers? We are seeking an individual to join our team in **Fort Erie, ON.**
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Assist in managing assets, including but not limited to vehicles, forklifts, racking, and facilities.
- Assist in managing inventory parameters, ensuring the correct levels of the correct products are on the shelves.
- Reporting and data analysis with respect to operational performance.
- Manage cycle counts for the organization. Including but not limited to, setup, scheduling, review completion, and out of tolerance investigation and approval.
- Price list management, including ownership of the general pricelists and assistance in managing customer specific price lists.
- Low margin review and communication to the sales team.
- ERP processing issue investigation/troubleshooting for the distribution team.
- Oversight and management of open sales orders. Including follow-up with branch leaders.
- Assist in new branch set up procedures, including inventory, utilities, licensing and other regulatory needs
- Gain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the ERP system, specifically gaining knowledge on the various modules of the system and how they interact
- Process owner for new product release, review and analysis
- Create basic purchase orders for supplies and non-inventory purchases
- Contact suppliers regarding errors in partial or duplicate shipments, prices, and substitutions.
- Communicate all delays or variances of inbound freight to the appropriate parties.
- Resolve purchase order / receipt discrepancies with suppliers
**General**
- Use judgment and discretion to resolve less-routine questions and problems, and refer more complex issues to higher levels.
- Provide back-up coverage for other members of the Vaughan and Hamilton teams in accordance with guidelines established by the Company to ensure that customer inquiries and orders are fulfilled during PTO, business travel, other absences and emergencies.
- Work harmoniously with all other employees and departments and Company management.
- Ensure strict confidentiality with company information, as necessary
**Experience**: Degree in Business or relevant field. A minimum of 3 years of progressive, relevant experience.

**Salary: $50,000.00-$56,000.00 per year**
