This is a contract opportunity The **Anticipated Start Date**: 2024-01-01. The contract will be for two (2) years.

**Must have**:
1. Must have a minimum of one hundred and twenty (120) months demonstrated combined experience within the last fifteen (15) years as an IT Security Specialist, specializing in the production or analysis of C&A or SA&A documents, including Threat, Risk, and Vulnerability (TRA) assessments in accordance with GoC security policies following DND/RCMP/CSE approved methodologies.

2. Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months demonstrated combined experience within the last one hundred and twenty (120) months documenting IT security orders and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests.

3. Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months demonstrated combined experience within the last one hundred and twenty (120) months performing risk assessments and executing tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures.

4. Must have prepared for or conducted at least two (2) Technical COMSEC Inspections (TCI) within the past sixty (60) months.

5. Must demonstrate a minimum of thirty-six (36) months of experience within the last sixty (60) months, in each of the following areas:
(1) Providing 1st and 3rd line of support to a classified data center infrastructure; and

a. TBMCS, or NAPPIC; and

b. FlightPro/ULTool, or M2S; and

c. DSS, or RFE, or APT.

6. Must hold a College level degree in a minimum 2 year Information Technology (IT) or Cyber program AND has sixty (60) months or more experience installing, maintaining, or managing an IT network or Cyber system.

OR

Has received formal IT related technical trade qualification training from a government led institution AND has sixty (60) months or more experience installing, maintaining, or managing an IT network or Cyber system.

7. Must demonstrate recent* and extensive** experience in the conduct of Technical COMSEC Inspections (TCIs) for IT systems.

8. Must demonstrate experience as an Information Technology Security or C&A Analyst in a classified environment.

10. Has processed a minimum of one (1) SA&A (or C&A) within the past thirty-six (36) months using GoC approved processes.

11. Must demonstrate experience and knowledge of DND’s Request For Change (RFC) process through the production and submission of the request with all supporting artifacts and/or participating in the Impact Assessment and recommendation for approval of the RFCs.

12. Must have experience and knowledge gained within past one hundred and twenty (120) months of EMSEC demonstrated through examples of:

- expansion or modification of existing classified systems;
- Installation of new classified systems;
- Hardware installation in data centres; and
- Implementation of new Crypto protected point of presence.

13. Must have been employed as a Team Lead or Senior Security analyst in the past one hundred and twenty (120) months responsible for the analysis, recommendations, and implementation of security solutions

**Education**

Must hold a College level degree in a minimum 2 year Information Technology (IT) or Cyber program AND has sixty (60) months or more experience installing, maintaining, or managing an IT network or Cyber system.

OR

Has received formal IT related technical trade qualification training from a government led institution AND has sixty (60) months or more experience installing, maintaining, or managing an IT network or Cyber system.

**Job Location**:
Work will be a combination of remote and on site. Resources must be available to work on site if required. Work location is **455 De La Carriere, Gatineau and/or Carling Campus.**

**Role/Tasks**:
The SecA3 must complete the following specific tasks which include, but are not limited to the following:
b. Plan, coordinate, manage, implement, validate, verify, and develop security required to support all assigned AFCCIS Program of Work initiatives;
c. Develop Security Assessment and Authorization packages associated with the sustainment, addition, modification, and implementation and deployment of existing, new and modified software and/or hardware as defined in the AFCCIS Program and AFCCIS related capabilities;
d. Identify threats to, and vulnerabilities of operating systems (such as MS, Unix, Linux, and Novell), and architectures;
e. Identify personnel, technical, physical, and procedural threats
