**Job Description - Accounting Administrator**
**Powell Foundations Inc. (PFI),** located in Stouffville Ontario, strives to provide clients with all their foundation needs. We specialize in the construction of temporary excavation protection, pile driving, deep caisson shafts, sheet pile cofferdams, noise barriers and overhead sign footings. We are growing and looking to add an **Accounting Administrator** to our team.
**Purpose**
Manage the day-to-day operations of all accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
**Reporting Structure**
Reporting to the Accounting Manager.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Responsible for preparing Accounts Receivable invoices.
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure Job Estimate are accurate and allocated accordingly.
- Responsible for Cash allocations and investigate Client discrepancies.
- Assist in Accounts Receivable collections and payment plans.
- Responsible for Accounts Payable processing and validating correct approvals are received.
- Ensure all documents are prepared and validated for the Accounts Payable cheque runs.
- Responsible for the Corporate Credit Card process and validation of approvals.
- Ensure all Employee Expenses are submitted accurately and timely for processing.
- Perform assigned month-end reconciliations functions.
- Generating reports and statements as per management requests
- Ad hoc duties as assigned
**Additionally, key success criteria, means you will have**:
- Excellent attention to detail, records management and problem solving skills
- Strong data entry with skill and accuracy including organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel is required and working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
- Effective interpersonal and strong ability to build relationships
- Flexible to changing business conditions and a fast-past work environment
- Previous experience in a multi-company environment is an asset
- Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset
