What you will do...
- Review and evaluate electronic physical damage appraisals, including photo-based estimation.
- Discuss and negotiate with repair facilities on proper repair methods and pricing.
- Develop and maintain a professional, collaborative relationships with vendor partners.
- Inspect vehicles, prepare estimates, and complete damage appraisals.
- Complete total loss evaluation documents (Autosource) and branding forms for total loss files as required.
- Cover all regions in which we operate (Ontario/Nova Scotia).
- Provide quality control on supplemental requests and coordinate reinspection as needed.
- Act as a technical resource and provide technical expertise/assistance to claims staff as needed.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in automobile repair techniques, estimating software, hardware, and vehicle evaluations through ongoing learning.
- Handle complex day-to-day physical damage issues.
- Field work may be required.

What you will bring...
- Minimum 3 year of direct experience either appraising/estimating automobile physical damages or working within an imaging desk or equivalent role.
- Completion of I-Car and/or technical courses preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automobile repair procedures.
- Strong technical understanding of Audatex estimating, car design and vehicle systems.
- Ability to identify damages, judge repairability and time requirements.
- Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office (Excel) preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Detail oriented with a high degree and focus on accuracy.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with continual changes.
- Perform other duties as required.
