**Job Summary**:
This is an excellent opportunity to gain a diverse work experience in Planning Policy. The student will support staff on the Planning Policy Team on a wide variety of policy projects, involving research and analysis in study areas such as Growth Management, Rural and Agricultural and Natural Heritage.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada as a student.
- In possession of a Social Insurance Number (card) at time of hire.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution on a full-time basis and returning to school in the fall of 2023.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to Planning Policy staff on various policy projects and initiatives.
- Undertake policy research and analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- Enrolled in an Urban/Regional Planning program, from a recognized university or college.
- Good research skills and ability to work with planning data.
- Proficient in Powerpoint and Excel.
- Able to work independently with little supervision.
- Excellent oral communication skills.

**Preferred**
- Demonstrate an understanding of the Provincial Policy framework.

- Travel may be required; incumbent must provide their own transportation.
