**Opportunity: Corporate Compliance Specialist**

As a Corporate Compliance Specialist, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you’ll play an instrumental role in mitigating risk and ensuring our organization is adhering to industry, regulatory, and other control practices. Not only will you act as an advisor, but you will also manage all compliance requirements including privacy, complaints, trademarks, disclaimers, and audits. Your passion for making things better will go hand in hand with our drive to outperform.
- Assist leaders to manage regulatory risk through consultations, monitoring, and reporting.
- Oversee the complaints and privacy process.
- Act on Horizon Report actions.
- Manage all broker licensing for all provinces at Intact Public Entities.
- Analyze collected data to bring consistent practices across the organization and identifies areas that need further risk mitigation.
- Maintains current and detailed knowledge of operational risk issues including awareness of domestic legislation, regulations, insurance industry trends and initiatives, best practices, underwriting guidelines, and implementation of these practices.
- Develop and maintain IPE policy keeper/developer of regulatory IPE policies and bylaws.
- Conduct compliance audits.
- Ensure partner compliance.
- Participates in special projects as assigned.

**What you Bring to the Table**:

- College or University degree.
- 5 years of insurance experience with a focus on compliance and/or operations.
- Commercial or specialty insurance experience preferred.
- Proactive and decisive thinking, excellent ability to problem-solve and identify solutions through superior negotiation and influencing skills.
- You have excellent presentation skills and experience consulting on business practices and process & control assessments.
- Relationship building and development with internal and external parties.
