School Custodian

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for employees and visitors. Clear vulnerable sector check required. Potential for renewal in September.

**Duties**:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, hallsways, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to company policies and regulations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
- Good communication skills
