**Join Our Team**

We’re currently searching for a full-time Facility Custodian to join our team. The Facility Custodian performs custodial, operational, and maintenance duties to accomplish various tasks associated with running the school building smoothly, efficiently and in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.

The Facility Custodian oversees the maintenance of the building, grounds, and security for the school. Duties include scheduling repairs, renovation projects, safety inspections and managing contractor and vendor relationships. Maintaining required records utilizing computer technology is a requirement.

**Building Maintenance and Custodial**

The Facility Custodian is required to manage and monitor the building premises, facilities, and equipment.
- Daily custodial duties
- Facilities Management
- General maintenance and repairs
- Orders and maintains an inventory of cleaning material and equipment.
- Is available in emergency situations involving the school building such as a power failure, heating and ventilation problems, plumbing, security, and any related problems that may arise.

**Work Environment / Job Challenges**
The role of Facility Custodian is a physically demanding job and involves working in different types of environments, such as closed rooms or open grounds under different weather conditions. The requirements require an individual with the physical stamina to endure long periods of walking, standing, and climbing stairs.

**Technical Skills**
- Proficient computer skills including word, outlook and excel.
- Oversees Security/Fire Alarm System
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in general maintenance and construction work and the ability to learn their use.
- Ability to operate a variety of mechanical equipment.

**Credentials / Certificates**
Current Police Criminal Check
Valid Drivers License and must have own vehicle.

**Hours**

6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
