This role will be responsible for all inbound and outbound shipping functions within the organization as well as some general administrative functions.

The Administrative Assistant and Shipping Clerk role is responsible for all inbound and outbound tracking and monitoring of orders from the factory to BCG offices and subsequently the customer. This role should become an expert in company products and have an understanding of production flow to be able to schedule and update order statuses and timely invoicing.
- Responsible for all shipping and receiving of product, including customer ordered product, inventory management, and customer requested samples.
- Receive all inbound product and enter in the inventory system.
- Maintain a tracking list of all orders and updates a production tracker with the current status of orders by seeking updates from the production team.
- Will act as the primary contact for product status, responsible for knowing the status of product at overseas factories, in house, and shipments to customers.
- Answering phones and answering basic customer service questions and providing any tracking updates.
- Responsible for all invoicing to customers once product as shipped.
- Complete all other work duties and special projects as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Data Entry and Logistics experience a plus.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Possess the flexibility necessary to multi-task in a demanding, fast-paced technical environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and written skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel and Outlook.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage time and communicate effectively.
- This is an entry level position with lots of growth potential.

**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work**

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Overtime and scheduling flexibility may be required.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
