**Job Overview**
As the Director of FF&E, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations and resources of the project management team. You will play a crucial role in setting strategic goals, implementing policies, and ensuring the organization's success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage project team from execution of scope of work through completion.
- Develop timelines and coordinate with project managers concerning staff assignments and project deliverables.
- Plan, organize, and direct project team activities, workflow and other day-to-day activities to ensure goals and objectives of all projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget.
- Review project schedule, item pricing, change orders, and material updates.
- Responsible overall to ensure that all FF&E are properly planned, coordinated, ordered, tracked and installed within the project scope, budget and schedule parameters.
- Hold periodic meetings with the team to improve collaboration and ensure information is shared and updates are communicated.
- Help streamline processes, establish SOPs and improve efficiency.
- Conduct site visits to ensure proper installation and adherence to design standards.
- Review feedback from clients and making alterations according to the clients' needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials and technologies.
- Lead and mentor team to foster a collaborative and creative work environment, help with staff retention efforts and participate in staffing requirements, including hiring and oversee integration of new staff.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD and related software. Project management software experience a plus.
- Minimum 10 years furniture/design industry experience.
- Experience managing a team, delegating & prioritizing tasks.
- Highly organized with strong research, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - verbal, written, and design articulation.
- Knowledge of construction and interior design process.
- Understanding of construction documentation: able to read and interpret plans, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, furniture design and material specifications.
- Product knowledge of furniture, fabrics, accessories, art, drapery, decorative lighting, and finishes.
- Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous FF&E projects is highly desirable.
