**ABOUT THE JOB**

CMHA BC is looking for a Project Coordinator to assist the Director, Workplace Mental Health, in the areas of project coordination, quality assurance, accounting and support of facilitators and partners for the BC’s Hub for Workplace Mental Health. The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for supporting the development and monitoring of resource and curriculum development, for BC’s Hub for workplace mental health.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The key responsibilities of the job include supporting the Director, Workplace Mental Health in daily operations of CMHA BC’s workplace mental health program, such as:

- Providing support to Director on project duties such as assisting with the technical implementation of grants, proofing and filing key documents and contracts and liaising on a regular basis with key project stakeholders, tracking course delivery, invoicing and key milestones.
- Coordinating the enhancements to BC’s Hub for Workplace Mental Health website, including providing expertise in workplace mental health, human resources, and curriculum development.
- Support development of self-paced modules, resources and/ or consultancy for employers and leaders to better understand and support those living with mental health and substance use challenges, and concurrent disorders.
- Coordinating and supporting other projects that fall within this department.
- Increase internal capacity of the project team to provide psychological health and safety best practices, including how to modify existing practices and policies that may present barriers to people living with mental illness to obtain or sustain employment.
- Expand BC’s Hub for workplace mental health free repository to include new articles and educational multi-media resources for employers, leaders, and employees.
- Providing operational input into the development, implementation and interpretation of program policies and procedures, when required.
- Supporting the Learning Coaches with content and coordination.
- Providing input and support on educational tools and templates and resources on a regular basis.
- Supporting the ongoing improvements of the BC’s Hub for Workplace Mental Health website.
- Liaising with communication team to improve digital marketing strategy, identifying opportunities to promote and market the program.
- Making logístical arrangements for meetings with CMHA branches, key stakeholders, advisory committees, and other relevant parties involved in specific projects, reporting major issues to Director.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Education and Experience_
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Psychological Health and Safety Professional Certificate
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role with experience in the non-profit sector, ideally in a health, mental health or education context.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience may be considered.
- Experience in coordinating projects involving deliverables.
- Experience in maintaining and strengthening a community of practice.
- Experience in areas of monitoring, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Experience in co-facilitating online meetings and using virtual engagement tools.
- Experience, Skills, and Abilities_
- Sound knowledge and expertise in workplace mental health
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptionally organized and proactive with ability to be able to assess and prioritize multiple tasks and demands, along with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships, understand complex partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Resourceful; innovates to solve problems.
- Commitment to high standards of quality, reliable and responsive.
- Works independently, collaboratively and under pressure.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft office package particularly in Microsoft Access, and efficiency with Google Workplace, Mailchimp and Canva.
- Website content management skills, with systems like WordPress or equivalent.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- This is a 1.0 FTE position located in Vancouver.
- The usual work week is 37.5 hrs. Most work is accomplished during the usual 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. business hours.
- The position is unionized through the Health Sciences Association of B.C with the Health Science Professionals bargaining unit and the hourly rate is $35.03.
- Combination of working from home and working from office required.
