**Title**: Program Advisor, Harm Reduction
**Salary**: $92,856 - $100,394 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: Standard hours (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
**Location**: Metro Vancouver Area
**Bargaining Unit**: Public Service Alliance of Canada

**About the role**
As Program Advisor, Harm Reduction, you will - Implements all aspects of the FNHA Indigenous Harm Reduction Education Program developed in response to the toxic drug crisis in British Columbia. This includes FNHA funding arrangements, promotion, leadership, engagement and evaluation across FNHA and with Regions.

**About you**
- To be successful in this role you will have - a University degree with a minimum of six years of relevant experience or an acceptable combination of education, training

**You may have experience in;**
- Knowledge of community based health policy, programming and service leadership
- Knowledge of concepts, practices and methods pertaining to community health based accreditation and quality improvement
- Knowledge of change management principles, asset mapping and QI Project Planning
- Knowledge of colonial history and contexts for understanding social disparities and inequities, for First Nations, including but not limited to the IRS system and Indian hospitals

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
