As an organization, we provide support to the greater Squamish Nation Community through service. With 12 departments with individual areas of expertise, we ensure Community Members have access to necessary programs and services.

**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Working as an integral part of the Yúustway Health and Wellness Department, this position reports directly to the Manager, Community Health and Wellness Division. this position is a valued member of our community-based interdisciplinary health and wellness team. The Harm Reduction Program Lead supervises and leads CHW positions such as addiction workers, wellness clinicians and peer support workers in the delivery of high-quality services and programs. The position supports the Manager by attending partner meetings relevant to harm reduction and addictions. This position provides leadership in the delivery of harm reduction, addiction treatment approaches with a healing framework that demonstrates support in addressing root causes of addiction behavior, and services within the Squamish Nation community which includes communities on the North Shore and Squamish Valley. This role will be required to develop and maintain databases for the purpose of reporting using Mustimuhw Information System (MIS).

- Ability to quickly resolve scheduling and logistics conflicts.
- Ability to demonstrate active listening skills with both clients and staff, ensuring sound, empathetic, and culturally safe communications.
- Acts ethically and with the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Team-oriented with a positive, approachable attitude.

**Starting Salary**: $ 73,628 - $ 82,419 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program.
