**Title**: Community Coordinator, Indigenous Harm Reduction
**Contract**: Term to March 31, 2025
**Hours**: 8am-4pm / 8:30am-4:30pm / 9am-5pm
**Location**: Remote work

**About the role**
As the Community Coordinator, Indigenous Harm Reduction, you will lead the development of the network’s online platform, assist with governance and moderation, support engagement and gatherings, manage communications, and assist with ensuring the network’s long-term viability and sustainability - with guidance from the FNHA-based research study team. The Community Coordinator will also provide the central coordination for the CBR projects, research staff and community partners as well as be responsible for grant administration, including, budget management, reporting, communications, scheduling meetings, and knowledge exchange. Minimal travel is required for this position.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Completion of high school and at least three years of experience providing project management and coordination of complex projects in large organizations, preferably in health care, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and people who use drugs is critical
- Strong written and oral skills
- Proficient experience with of Microsoft Office Suite and videoconferencing software (e.g., Zoom, GoToWebinar, Skype)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into easily understood and audience appropriate briefing notes, plain language summaries, reports and presentations
- Formal training or equivalent experience in IT management, research or office administration and basic web development processes is an asset
- Training in cultural safety, trauma-informed practice, OCAP®, TCPS-2 are assets
- Experience with community and stakeholder engagement is an asset
- Community-based research experience is an asset
