Barrie, Canada The Speech Clinic Full time

Responsibilities:

- Work with our full-time bookkeeper to help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company
- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and submit invoices to clients
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employees
- Provide support during audits and tax preparation

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
- Proficient in using accounting software **Sage.**:

- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and general accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of payroll processing is a plus

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sage: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
