Part-time leading into full-time Bookkeeper required for small but growing business located in north end of Barrie.

- Keep client books up to date on an as needed basis (Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly) via QuickBooks Online/QuickBooks Desktop and Caseware
- Convert bank statements into an Excel format and upload to accounting software
- Organize physical documents provided by clients
- Administration and scanning of documents provided by clients
- Required to come into the office at least twice per week, otherwise flexible work schedule
- MUST BE CAPABLE OF BEING AROUND DOGS

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in a similar role
- Knowledge of standard Bookkeeping practices and how to organize transactions
- Understanding of financial documents (Trial Balance/Income Statement/Balance Sheet)
- Strong understanding of QuickBooks Online
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes (QuickBooks Online)
- Understanding of government remittances (Payroll/HST)
- Strong Excel knowledge
- Some knowledge of Caseware a bonus but not required
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
