The **COST ANALYST**will help the company to understand the true costs of our products, identify areas for cost optimization, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations specific to the manufacturing industry.

Reporting to the VP of Finance your accountabilities will be:

- Maintain and review inventory cost system.
- Conduct research and perform analytical studies in regard to cost analyses and profitability.
- Perform Variance Analysis of manufacturing costs vs Actual. Prepare regular reports and present them to management.
- Review Purchase Price Variance. Report trends and make recommendations.
- Overseeing annual Physical Inventory.
- Review bill of materials and routings for accuracy.
- Validate/assist in calculating savings on Continuous Improvement projects.
- Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
- Make recommendations that lead to cost efficiencies
- Lead project meetings with plant managers and other SMEs.
- Perform job-estimating as required
- Monitor new product launch costs for a variance to quoted

**What are we looking for?**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
- 5+ years in a finance/accounting position with demonstrated progression.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in ERP software.
- Hightly proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data.
- Good writing, verbal communications, and collaborative skills.
- Detailed Oriented.
- Work well in team environments.
- Work on projects as assigned.
- Comfortable on the plant floor.
