**DESCRIPTION**

Reporting to the Business Development Director, the Ottawa area merchandiser is responsible for merchandising and increasing the visibility of St-Albert Cheese products at the assigned accounts. The Merchandiser will also ensure a high quality of customer service at each visit.

**YOUR ROLE**:

- You will visit grocery stores daily, as assigned, within the Greater Ottawa area.
- You will talk to deli managers and grocery store staff, to create a working relationship with these key partners.
- You will take inventory of products that are available in each store and compare that to what they are listed for and talk to our partners regarding any listing gaps.
- You will occasionally perform product tastings in-store to promote St-Albert Cheese to consumers.
- Coordinate the marketing activities related to regional sales objectives and communicate it accordingly to our clients.
- You will be using Outlook to report back your activities while on the road.
- Occasionally take client orders in-store as required.

**WHAT YOU HAVE**:

- A valid G driver's licence and a car that is in good working order. (In addition to your base salary, you will be paid $0.50 per KM)
- You would consider yourself organized and easy to get along with.
- You enjoy talking to people.
- You are able to work by yourself with little supervision.
- You can speak and write in English.

**Status**: Permanent, Full Time

**Work Schedule**: days, 8am to 4pm
- _must be available on weekends occasionally._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $43,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
