Our Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Campus and Diversity Events Coordinator to support the team by developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating campus and diversity recruitment events. This role will play a vital role in promoting and expanding the Metrolinx employment brand and build talent pipelines across various external channels: on campus, in communities, and career fairs.

**What will I be doing?**
- Manage end-to-end campus talent acquisition which includes assisting with building, executing, and developing an on-campus strategy for each university/college to ensure we meet campus deadlines
- Build out a calendar of events that aligns with Metrolinx diversity goals and objectives and meets the needs of the business to attract hard-to-find skills
- Visit campuses, external community partners and vendors to build meaningful and positive relationships and being the main point of contact for all events
- Organize and host internal and external recruitment events, info sessions and speaking engagements by managing the TA events calendar. Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate attendance, manage logistics (booking conference rooms, arranging technology set-up, preparing recruiting materials etc.)
- Support the recruitment team by with drafting posting job opportunities on campus portals and diversity sites, and work with our marketing and communications teams to create promotional materials and social messages and campaigns
- Attend and set up event displays within the local area or within reasonable driving distance

**What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?**
- Completion of a diploma in Human Resources, or a related discipline - or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with campus recruitment and program development.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal customers, colleagues, and 3rd party suppliers
- Interpersonal, oral/written communication to effectively communicate with employees, assist or deliver presentations, and respond to requests for information from stakeholders
- Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Ability to listen, simplify, and disseminate information tailored to the target audience
- Strong problem-solving abilities: ability to troubleshoot issues independently and drive them to closure with mínimal supervision
- Available to attend events within reasonable driving distance (day and evening); at times, this role may require work during evenings and weekends; ability to bend and/or lift objects during set up of events
