Your Role at Cabot:
Provides administrative support and general clerical/administrative work to the Safety, Health and Environment Department.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Performs routine clerical/administrative work within SHE.
- Receives, classifies documents and information.
- Monitors and checks information for accuracy and completion.
- Responds to routine requests for information.
- Processes forms and information. Performs data entry. Compiles and generates standard reports.
- Maintains files and records. May order supplies or materials.
- Maintain training curriculum database and coordinate and schedule appropriate training activities for new hires and current employees.
- Other duties as required.
What You Will Bring to Cabot:
- Basic knowledge of company/function/business policies and procedures.
- Skilled in the use of office equipment and related software packages.
- Verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interface with internal managers and employees.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills.
- Secondary education required; post-secondary training (certificate program) preferred.
- 1-3 years general office experience required.
- $23 / hour
Cabot Canada Ltd., a subsidiary of Cabot Corporation located in Sarnia, Ontario, operates a 24/7 carbon black manufacturing facility.
