Local family run business located in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Specializing in agricultural processing is looking for an Accounting position to join their team.
**Essential Job Functions**
- accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, inventory
- month end and financial reporting for the company
- payroll
- data entry
- other office tasks
**Requirements**:
- Accounting education and experience
- Have a friendly and ready to learn attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- administrative practices, processes and procedures
- Excellent Computers skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, etc.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Background in Agriculture is an asset.
- Has reliable transportation to and from work.
**Education**
- Minimum of a Post Secondary Diploma in either Finance, Accounting or Business Administration Preferred
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
