RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
The DREAM-CV program is part of the Cardiology division of the MUHC. The DREAM-CV team has an active research program, conducting numerous projects each year to provide innovative research to their patients.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, organized, enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team. Under the immediate supervision of the clinical researcher, the incumbent will be directly involved in several cardiology research projects. The incumbent will work closely with the PI, other research nurses, students, and fellow research coordinators to coordinate study activities. The incumbent will also be in charge of overall coordination and the smooth running of the studies in accordance to institutional policies.

General Duties
- Be the primary contact for the study participants, and sponsors (as applicable),
- Assist in pre-screening, informed consent, and general study coordination in conjunction with fellow team members,
- Coordinate with the rest of the DREAM-CV team to ensure proper and efficient documentation and research organization,
- Creating, planning, implementing and maintaining data collection and analysis systems according to the research protocol,
- Collection and storing of questionnaires, consent forms and participants’ study files,
- Timely completion of all study documents, including case report forms and other study-specific documents, as well as query resolution,
- Assisting in the development of source documents, questionnaires and other study documents,
- Assisting with ethics submissions and amendments,
- Designing and maintaining databases and online surveys,
- Supervision of students including medical students, residents, fellows, and graduate students
- Other job-related tasks as assigned by the investigator.

- Education: PhD
- Field of Study: Health Sciences preferred
- Work Experience: Clinical research experience in an academic environment or/and in a clinical research organization preferred,

Additional information

**Status**: Temporary, full time

**Pay Scale**: Commensurate with education and experience

**Work Shift**: 8:00am to 4:00pm
