The position of Accounting Assistant comes with a competitive salary and a typical Monday-Friday schedule, and a hybrid work model (2 days per week remote, 3 days in the office).

**Overview**

The Accounting Assistant is an entry level position with some opportunity for advancement. The position is responsible for efficient and timely processing of Accounts Receivable and assists with general accounting and administrative duties in the accounting department. This position reports directly to the Controller.

**Responsibilities Include**
- Understand the PAUL DAVIS brand and be its champion
- Input invoices and upload them into the ERP system
- Communicate and solve issues with Project Management teams
- Answer internal and external inquiries related to accounts receivable
- Assist the AP department with payable entries
- Assist with preparing weekly and monthly reports as required
- Other accounting duties as needed
- Maintain tracking on all co-payable cheques to obtain timely endorsement.
- Complete daily bank deposits and posting cash receipts

**Qualifications & Skills**
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong eye for detail; ability to prioritize and manage time as needed
- Solid communication skills and ability to work as a team
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office; intermediate skill level in Excel.
- Accounting certificate or diploma is preferred
- Willingness to learn and handle new challenges.

Pay: $43,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
