**Receiver/Maintenance Staff** **Job Summary**

Our growing food retail business requires a reliable, energetic and organized individual to fulfill the receivership and maintenance requirements of our growing food retail business.

**Receiver/Maintenance Staff Responsibilities and Duties**
- Direct delivery trucks and help drivers unload goods.
- Inspect and count items that are received, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Contact shippers regarding missing, damaged or questionable product and arrange credits, deliveries, or other appropriate measures to rectify issues.
- Store received product in appropriate areas of stock room or refrigeration units, being sure to follow rotation procedures to ensure product quality and prevent loss.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as, but not limited to: replace light bulbs, empty grease traps, clean and repair refrigeration compressors and replace refrigeration fans.
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs to machines, equipment or structures.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and check for functionality.
- Perform outdoor property maintenance such as, but not limited to basic landscaping, snow removal and parking lot up-keep.
- Maintain safe working conditions and keep the store and operations areas organized and free of obstructions.
- Clean equipment and floors, remove garbage, as well as stock required materials and confirm that tools and equipment are in safe, working order.
- Report all issues to management in a timely manner.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies
- Conduct routine inspections to fulfill health and safety requirements.
- Keep an inventory of supplies and products and place orders when required.
- Sort, cut, pack and display quality produce, ensuring appropriate amount of stock is available.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers by taking and preparing orders, directing them to products, providing product information, performing carry-out services and all other aspects of customer service.
- Pack and stock produce as required as well as train new Fronts Packing Team Members in all aspects of the job in order to maintain consistency in the department.
- Assist store associates with heavy lifting and provide any support to departments as required.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with employees and management to solve problems.
- Assist in other duties or departments as assigned.

**Receiver/Maintenance **Staff Performance Standards**
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability and is able to work quickly and efficiently for extended periods of time.
- Exhibits skills in multi-tasking, organization and prioritization.
- Established goals and tasks are completed with any level or absence of supervision; employees will seek support from management when needed but are required to use self-motivation.
- Effective decision making, communication and collaboration skills are utilized.
- Adherence to the policies, procedures and standards relating to customer service, safety and store/department operation are demonstrated consistently.

**Physical Requirements**
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- This position requires stamina and dexterity, as well as standing, walking, bending kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing during each shift.
- Comfortable with climbing ladders and working in high places.
- The employee must frequently lift items ranging from 5-50+lbs.
- Experience using common hand and electric tools.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Ability to operate equipment such as a tow motor, pallet jack and riding lawn mower.
- Able to tolerate frequent temperature changes, cold temperatures (freezer) and a variety of work environments, including noise and high activity.

**Expected Hours of Work**:
This is a Monday to Friday, day position.
Occasional holiday and weekend hours required.

**Receiver/Maintenance Staff Requirements**:

- Organizational, time management and follow up skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Communication proficiency.
- A positive attitude.
- Customer focused.
- Basic mathematical skills.

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 per week
