We are looking for Maintenance Workers to join the team of Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village. NIGGV is commonly referred to as the “Village,” and since 1958, we have grown to be one of the largest providers of services for seniors in Ontario. Today, we offer 338 rental/lease apartments and 47 bungalows of independent and assisted living. This community offers a variety of amenities (chapel, library, an auditorium with shuffleboard courts, four five-pin bowling lanes, billiard room, therapeutic/recreational swimming pool, lounges, atrium and café). The Village also accommodates 40 Long Term Care suites.

**ABOUT THE POSITION**
Our Environmental Services team is looking to add Maintenance Workers to support the department by carrying the performance of routine, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance duties of the different areas of Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village. Perform minor repairs and general maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment as well as minor carpentry, drywall repairs, and painting are some of the responsibilities of such an important position within our community.
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Two (2) to three (3) years minimum general building maintenance and repair experience.
- Perform minor carpentry, drywall repairs, and painting.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
- Perform floor and carpet maintenance.
- Complete inspections of equipment and areas of property.
- Receive supplies and deliver to and store in appropriate areas (when required).
- Knowledge of swimming pool maintenance, (asset).
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as excellent organizational and time management skills.
