Parking and Ground Transportation (PGT) operations are an integral part of the airport journey providing the first and last customer experience at the airport and contribute to key non-aeronautical revenue for YVR.

**Position overview**

Are you someone who is good with numbers, thrives in a team environment and has an aptitude for operational systems?

As the **Parking Administrator** your main area of focus will be to administer and monitor our parking system, liaising with the vendor as needed to ensure we are maximizing operational efficiency through system performance. In addition, drawing on your strong analytical skills you will execute month end reporting, create statistical reports, and administer the department expense budget.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Administering the Parking and Revenue Control System (PARCS) including monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Liaising with the PARCS vendor on issues resolution and overall system performance
- Acting as point of contact for other technology systems that support parking operations
- Developing requirements to support procurement of new operational systems
- Developing operational and procedural manuals, policies and directives for all aspects of parking
- Administering the monthly and annual departmental budget, including tracking and forecasting
- Creating statistical reports and maintaining databases
- Providing training to outside contractors and internal staff on the PARCS system and internal processes
- Exporting of data to compile monthly revenue and operational statistics
- Administering the internal audit program; assisting with documentation and developing policies, preparing findings and ensuring compliance
- Working with the internal audit team to correct any findings that need to be resolved

**Key qualifications include**:

- Completion of a high school diploma, plus at least three years’ system administration or equivalent experience and three years of relevant administrative experience in a bookkeeping, accounting and/or a clerical role; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- Completion of a two to three-year certificate or diploma in business or a related discipline is considered an asset
- Experience in all aspects of parking operations is considered an asset
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to recognize problems and meet on-going deadlines
- Ability to communicate with others and work in a collaborative environment
- Computer proficiency in Office 365 (especially Excel and Word); knowledge of Oracle and Maximo is an asset
