**Role**
- Strategic HR Business Partners work with senior leaders and managers to facilitate the success of human capital-related business goals.**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with leaders on defining their organizational requirements, workforce and succession planning, talent identification, staffing strategies, performance management, training and development strategies
- Coach leaders to assess impacts of change with various stakeholders and develop effective change management plans
- Support leaders with developing harmonious relationships with union leaders
- Collaborate with leaders on complex case management including, complain/grievance resolution, work plans and accommodation solutions and overall employee engagement
- Ensure understanding of the business requirements and provide strategic input and support for the development and implementation of programs
- Enable the diagnosis of operational and strategic issues and develop effective solutions and interventions that deliver against key priorities
- Collaborating with team members in delivery of service, problem solving, continuous improvement
- Foster consistency of HR best practices
- Respond to client inquiries with respect to the clarification, interpretation or execution of HR policies and procedures, the terms of the collective agreement and conditions of employment

**Experience and knowledge**
- A minimum of eight (8) years related experience in delivering varied human resource solutions at both a strategic and operational level.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including federal and provincial respective employment laws.

**Education**
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management

**Certifications**
- Certified Human Resources Professional Designation (CHRP in ON and CRHA in QC)

Hours of work: 37.5 per week

Salary range: $CAN53,36/hour (min) to $CAN59,29/hour (max)
