Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, chartered, cargo, and emergency air transport services to Nunavik and beyond
- 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - for over 42 years. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and employs approximately 1000 employees in one of the world’s most challenging flight environments.

Air Inuit Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to pursuing their tradition of providing safe, punctual, and courteous air service for the growing number of people living and doing business in this enchanting region of Nunavik in Northern Québec.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Chief Pilot reports directly to the Director of Flight Operations.
- Participation in the Company’s Safety Management System.
- Developing standard operating procedures.
- Ensuring that all approved training programs required for flight crews comply with all regulations.
- Issuing directives and notices to flight crews as required.
- Ensuring the operational suitability and requirements of all airports and routes served by the Company.
- Actioning and distribution of Safety Management System, Aviation Occurrence Report(s), and other pertinent reports.
- Perform the duties outlined in the Flight Operations Manual and the Air Inuit Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Supervising flight crews.
- Ensure that all training programs approved and required for flight crews comply with all regulations
- Performing all other duties as assigned by the Director of Flight Operations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bilingual written and spoken (French / English), Inuktitut (an asset).
- Possess at least three (3) years of experience as a captain on this aircraft type or similar.
- Aviation management experience or equivalent degree.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Standard Operations Manual and CARS procedures.
- Management ability.
- Meet TC requirements as per CAR’s 725.07 (2) (b).
- Successfully pass an interview with the TC-A.
- Ability to obtain a TSA clearance.

**REMUNERATION**
