**Scope/ Overview of Position**:
Launched in 1979 as a wholesale and distribution company, SDR has transformed itself into a leader in the North American 3PL market, specializing in the fashion, footwear, accessories, and related soft goods fulfillment market niche. SDR hosts a clientele base in excess of 100 customers with over 1000 vendors. Our footprint is in excess of 2 million square feet throughout North America

**Position Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced **WMS Solutions Specialist **who will support our Solutions Team in building world-class solutions for new and existing customers. This person will play a key role in leveraging the full capabilities of our Manhattan SCALE WMS to meet/exceed the specific requirements of our client base. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and offers a variety of challenges and opportunities for growth.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance and Solutions Engineering to help build the most cost-effective solution for our clients.
- Perform test scenario writing, training, go-live support, and post-startup support while ensuring that our Manhattan SCALE WMS is properly configured and integrated from end-to-end across all systems.
- Develop a clear understanding of the customer requirements and supporting business processes and translate these to specific WMS configuration requirements.
- Partner with clients to translate business requirements into test specifications & scenarios.
- Collaborate with the vendor and client to perform software testing and report on quality metrics.
- Lead and/or support continuous improvement activities across all areas of operations.
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and various training materials.
- Lead and/or participate in delivering process and system related training if required.
- Provide support to existing internal customers, traveling to multiple sites within the GTA as required. Occasional travel to other provinces may be required.

**Qualifications, Education and Experience Required**:

- Degree / diploma in a supply chain related discipline
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution/ fulfillment center environment is a must.
- Experience training on a WMS system is a definite asset.
- 3+ years of experience with any of Manhattan’s Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) including PKMS, SCALE etc.
- Experience in developing an overall testing strategy, writing test scenarios, configuring a Manhattan WMS solution, testing, executing, communicating test results back to the client, managing & training client personnel, developing training documentation, executing training, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience utilizing project management tools (i.e., Smartsheet) to track progress and to provide status updates on key projects to all stakeholders.
- Ability to take initiative and work with mínimal supervision.
- Able to effectively multi-task and to meet all targeted deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- You are approachable, positive, and able to work with all levels within the organization.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge and experience using RF scanners an asset.
- Must be able to travel to and from our North American sites (5% travel outside of Ontario)

**Specialized Knowledge**
- Sound understanding of general business conditions in a warehousing or logistics environment
- Ability to interact and effectively communicate technology concepts amongst peers.
- Experience in IT field (warehousing environment highly desirable); WMS; Manhattan Scale experience a definite asset but not required.
- Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
