**Your role**

CBC/Radio-Canada is currently looking to integrate sustainability in its core procurement process.

As the ESG Procurement Program Advisor, you will be responsible for the overall planning, development, delivery and implementation of the sustainability plan of CBC/Radio-Canada supply chain and procurement as well of the execution and follow through of the new procurement directive on sustainable procurement.

You will be leading and managing projects related to the integration of sustainable procurement in the procurement process and various initiatives. You will participate in and influence changes to ensure sustainability is embedded in the sourcing process.

You will develop sustainable dashboard to measure the success of the implementation.

You will participate in the two key initiatives concerning the greening the fleet initiative and the reducing travel initiative.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Prepare a project plan to launch the sustainable procurement program.
- Identify the required resources, deliverables and timetables related to project management.
- To provide professional advice to and develop working relationships with various committee members, senior managers and service users on matters of strategy, policy and practice relating to sustainable procurement.
- Use influence and relationships to ensure effective adoption of sustainability, procurement policies, guidelines by all stakeholders and potential suppliers.
- Prepare and deliver reports to various committees and management.
- Provide expert advice and interpretation during the development and assessment of contract evaluation criteria, ensuring the environmental impacts have been duly considered, in relation to all stakeholder organizations (where appropriate).
- Provide assurance that environmental considerations have been incorporated into the product and service selection process where applicable.
- Work with external bodies to increase knowledge and introduce better sustainable procurement practices within CBC/Radio-Canada.
- Provide a point of contact for sustainable procurement advice for all staff across all stakeholders, both internal and external.
- As required, work on the implementation and management of systems to monitor the results of environmental targets in relation to procurement.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental management, business administration or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in managing a sustainability procurement program in an organization
- Be familiar with sustainability concepts and programs (environmental) is an asset
- Must have minimum five (5) years’ experience in the supply management and/or procurement field
- Experience in process and procedure document drafting
- Public procurement knowledge is an asset
- Strong Communicator and persuader
- Pragmatic, creative thinker and strong project management skills
- Proactive and willing to tackle challenges
- Bilingual (French and English spoken and written)
- Able to travel in Canada when required
