The McGill Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism is a focal point for innovative legal and interdisciplinary research, dialogue, and outreach on human rights and legal pluralism. The Centre's mission is to provide students, professors and the larger community with a locus of intellectual and physical resources for engaging critically with how law impacts upon some of the most compelling social problems of our modern era.

The Human Rights Internship (IHRIP) Coordinator assists the Executive Director of the Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism (CHRLP) in recruiting and preparing undergraduate law students for human rights internships with international and North American organizations.

The Internships Program Coordinators (2) coordinate and co-organize all aspects of the International Human Rights Internship Program (IHRIP): act as communications liaison with past, current, and prospective interns; organize IHRIP information session(s); organize intern selection process, conceive and organize intern orientation activities, organize intern debrief session, collaborate on program reports, and other related duties.

The approximate commitment is 2-5 hours per week, with more hours required during peak periods.
