**Company Bio**:
Our client is a large, diversified hospitality group with an impressive portfolio that includes hotels and restaurants. Known for their commitment to quality and exceptional service, they have established themselves as a leader in the hospitality industry. With over $75M in revenue and a workforce of over 400 employees, including 85 managers, they are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to join their team. This critical role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will play a key part in driving the financial strategy and health of the group.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the complete accounting operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk.
- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
- Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, existing properties, and proposed expansions.
- Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including revenue/expense and balance sheet reports.
- Manage the accounting team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess any changes necessary.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and historical data.
- Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
- Oversee the management and coordination of all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes.
- Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- CPA designation is a must.
- Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role, ideally within the hospitality industry, overseeing large-scale revenues and teams.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reports.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with financial reporting requirements, including experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Hands-on experience with automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet established deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
