**Duties**:

- Writing policy papers, policy-related briefings and presentations on complex issues;
- Communicating and collaborating with colleagues from across the department to advance science, innovation and regulatory policy priorities;
- Preparing responses and recommendations to senior management;

- Contributing to scientific files;

**Intent of the process**:
Immediate need: One (1) permanent full-time position to be filled in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Experience conducting analysis of strategic issues and presenting options to support senior management decision-making.
Experience developing strategic approaches and providing advice on optimal processes to achieve them.
Experience in preparing written reports, presentations, or other written briefing materials for senior management.
Experience working with tools, techniques, or methodologies for analyzing data or information.

Asset Qualifications - Experience:
Experience in working with agriculture sector stakeholders such as, industry, academia, federal government departments/agencies, provincial government departments, or national or international organizations.
Experience in facilitating strategic sessions involving government and industry stakeholders.
