PagerDuty is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to deliver business results by building high-quality, relevant experiences for Mid-Market and Enterprise customers through the Display channel. This role will be responsible for delivering a cohesive and seamless multi-touch experience that spans multiple personas and product lines. This person will own end-to-end strategy and execution, helping PagerDuty tell the Operations Cloud story and accelerating growth and pipeline.
This role is a critical part of the Performance Marketing team and will partner closely with the Integrated Campaigns and Brand teams to bring a delightful, impactful user experience to life. This is a highly cross-functional and analytical role collaborating with other teams like Marketing Analytics and Marketing Operations to successfully drive strategic growth.
**Key Responsibilities - How You Impact Our Vision**:
- Strategize, plan, launch, and optimize the Display channel to drive inbound lead and trial acquisition
- Adeptly run a dynamic portfolio of digital demand campaigns for multiple product lines, constantly optimizing for our evolving products
- Optimize the Display channel budget across multiple ad partners, continually exploring frontiers with long-standing partners and testing new opportunities
- Manage ad vendor relationships to motivate partners and extract the highest value, including negotiation and roadmapping
- Establish key metrics, build reports, monitor performance, and analyze data into actionable insights to improve and scale Display efforts and keep internal stakeholders informed
- Develop hypotheses, build tests, and recommend optimizations to iterate on new ways to get quality leads into the eCommerce and sales funnels
- Stay on top of industry trends, including researching, driving, and influencing adoption of new modern marketing tactics
- Collaborate with Campaign Managers and Channel Managers to deliver a smooth, optimized user experience and meet acquisition goals
- Write creative briefs to define program objectives and KPIs
**About You - Minimum Qualifications**:
- A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5+ years of related performance marketing experience
- Deep understanding of Display platforms & capabilities
- A firm grasp of A/B Testing and metrics driven performance marketing
- Strong analytical ability, including experience in tracking and attribution
- High level autonomy and self-motivation to successfully lead projects independently
- The ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify, and resolve problems involving cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task
- Skilled in partnership building with internal stakeholders
**Preferred Skills**
- Experience at a B2B SaaS company
- Experience in developer marketing, web analytics, and ABM
