BBE is seeking a full-time, permanent **Logistics Manager **for the YEG location who will ensure BBE’s supply chain activities run safely, effectively, and that BBE is well position for growth. The Logistics Manager will create and evaluate business procedures ranging from operations plans and personnel schedules and overseeing the YEG facility and maintenance of contracts specific to YEG operations. Each of which are vital to the success of this position.

As the Logistics Manager you will set the example for your team in _everything _you do. Our operations are high velocity with predominantly floor-stack goods. We have mínimal on-hand inventory as we pride ourselves on short turnaround times for our customers. We manage all diverse types of inventories from dangerous goods to groceries to pharmaceuticals to mining equipment.

**Accountabilities**- Leadership, management, and accountability for your team of logistics agents and warehouse logistics coordinators.-
- Warehouse customer service and delivery.**Responsibilities**- Provide leadership, mentorship, and organizational structure for the operational team, setting conditions for advancement and expanded opportunities for staff.-
- Manage operational costs including materials and labour components of warehouse operations.-
- Provide ‘on the floor’ and written training processes for staff.-
- Ensure training documentation is completed by all team members.-
- Manage and follow disciplinary processes with team members as required.-
- Ensure the warehouse team is meeting customer requirements per client contracts.-
- Understand and guide team on YEG cargo operations critical points procedures including temperature and time-sensitive Pharma controls.-
- Oversee, inspect, and provided guidance for cargo storage areas. Ensure cargo segregation is implemented to protect cargo from contamination, damage, loss, and theft.-
- Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices and BBE’s CEIV Pharma Standards.-
- Implement and maintain health and safety procedures as outlined by BBE’s Quality, Health, and Safety programs for your respective operations.-
- Ensure PPE for all staff and visitors to the YEG facility.-
- Utilize BBE’s security system to assist with investigations as required.-
- Management of warehouse infrastructure, equipment, vehicles, and tools.-
- Train the Trainer for reach truck, forklift, and counterbalance forklift.**Qualifications**- Logistics and inventory experience.-
- Shipping, receiving, or warehousing experience is an asset.-
- Equipment experience (forklift, counterbalance forklift, reach truck).-
- Proficient in MS Office.-
- Strong organizational skills.-
- Passion for customer service.-
- A technical school degree or other relevant designation is an asset.-
- SCMP or similar certification is an asset.-
