**Full job description**

The Sales Representative/Business Development will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing strong relationships with companies, contractors, manufacturers, and retail customers. Key duties include identifying new business opportunities, promoting building materials such as mouldings, caulking, PU foam, hardware, and accessories, and managing online social media accounts. The role also involves conducting customer visits, negotiating contracts, monitoring market trends, and attending industry events. The representative collaborates with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and expand market presence.

**Specific Responsibilities include**:

- Identify and establish relationships with potential customers, including contractors, developers, manufacturers, and other relevant companies in the building supply industry.
- Promote and sell the company's range of products.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand their needs and provide tailored product solutions.
- Manage online social media accounts and post organic ads.
- Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to showcase the company's product offerings.
- Develop business strategies to meet sales targets and expand market presence.

**Qualifications**

You must have an outgoing personality along with an exceptional level of drive and a desire to learn new skills and build a career in sales and marketing. You should have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

- Proven sales experience, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of the building supply sector and familiarity with our products.
- Cold-calling experience to generate leads and new business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting attitude.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint basic skills.
- Valid Full G driver's license with a willingness to travel as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
