As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking 1 skilled Carpenter or Carpenter Apprentice to join us in delivering exceptional results. This position can lead into a more project management role.

**Job Description**:
We are looking for a dedicated lead carpenter or experience carpenter apprentice with the willingness to learn who is passionate about their craft and committed to delivering high-quality work. As a Carpenter or Carpenter Apprentice, you will work with my guidance, contributing to various renovation projects from start to finish.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures. Mostly bathrooms/kitchens and complete interior renovations. (Mostly interior)
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to project requirements.
- Perform tasks such as framing, finishing, some cabinetry, and installations of misc tasks such as pre demo job set up like neatly installing ram board and dust protection walls, completing safe demo, back framing, vapour barriers, insulation, sometimes a bit of drywall boarding, laminate flooring etc. We discuss what additional tasks you may be able to take on during the planning of a project.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Follow established safety guidelines and regulations on-site.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Assist in the cleanup and organization of the job site. May include picking up materials and dump runs.
- Learn and develop new skills under the guidance of a mentor.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow within the company.

**Requirements**:
For 3rd/4th year Carpenter Apprentice: Experience in renovations or related field is preferred. Willingness to learn and grow. Work vehicle. (Please also read carpenter requirements *).
For Carpenter: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Carpenter in residential construction.
*Solid understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
*Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
*Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
*Basic knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
*Work truck and good range of work tools preferred.
*Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus.
