With a commitment to professionalism and integrity, we take pride in our work and strive for excellence in every project we undertake.Job Description:We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Red Seal Certified Carpenter Site Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks, including but not limited to:Requirements:- Red Seal Certification in Carpentry- Minimum of 10 years of experience in carpentry and ability to direct site- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements- Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship- Framing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures with strong layout abilities - Constructing, installing, and repairing cabinets, shelves, doors, and other wooden components- Install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems- Performing general carpentry duties as required on construction sites- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation- Collaborating with other tradespeople and contractors as part of a team- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams (apprentices & other construction workers) effectively- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders- Finishing carpentry skills and knowledge an asset- Ability to prepare cost estimates for clients an assetBenefits:- Competitive pay $35-$50 per hour based on experience and qualifications- Supportive work environment with a focus on safety and teamwork- Exciting projects and the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionalsIf you are a skilled carpenter with site lead abilities and looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
