Brandt is currently looking to fill a **Product Planner - Attachments** position in our Regina location.

Analyze the industry landscape
- Identify the market leaders
- Know competitor specs & options
- Know competitor value propositions & performance attributes

Host Customer Advocacy Group meetings
- Bring customers from the specific industry into a group discussion to gain expert insight
- Understand their current issues and pain points with existing products - determine what they would change and why
- Get a clear understanding of the commercial aspects of the product - when customers buy, what is the value that drives their purchasing decision, etc.
- Understand customer business practices and priorities across multiple equipment production systems
- Validate that we will have the right product availability that will meet their needs

Define the Brandt Product that needs to be developed
- Ensure products are innovative, competitively priced, appropriately featured and align with the overall strategy of the organization
- Collaborate with a cross functional teams and execute on Brandt’s Product Development Process to ensure that specs and customer value is maintained and followed through the entire development
- Report to Internal Stakeholders on progress of product development throughout development

Transfer Market and Product Knowledge to Sales & Marketing teams
- Inform on who our customer is and how they will use this product
- Inform on how our product will allow our customers to be productive, efficient & profitable
- Inform on the product value proposition that our product has over the competition
- Highlight features that are valuable to the customer for success
- Showcase performance of product compared to the competition

**Required Skills**:
We are looking for an individual who has a passion for understanding how a properly manufactured, design and spec’d attachment can lead to machine & customer productivity gains. Success in this role requires a humble curiosity, and the ability to gain full understanding of the market and the customer work tool usage. This is a unique and highly impactful opportunity to shape the vision for Brandt products for years to come.
- Collect, Analyze and Interpret Market Data from brochures, websites, dealers, customers, trade shows, and industry publications
- Experience in any of the following areas will be an asset - direct use of the product(s), sales, design, customer support or manufacturing
- Excellent organization & communication skills - written and verbal
- The ability to work with all levels and departments in the organization
- An understanding of business and product financial metrics
- The ability to travel 1 week per month when necessary
