Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist / assistant to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your primary duties will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and assisting with billing and insurance claims.

**Duties**:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Schedule appointments and maintain the dental office's appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
- Collect and record patient information, including medical history and personal details
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix or Epic
- Assist with billing processes, including generating invoices and processing payments
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a dental office

familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.11-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
