Trust Child Care is hiring for the role of School Administrative Assistant (SAA). The SAA at Trust Child Care performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties. The role is essential to the daily operation and smooth running of the centre. Under the guidance of the Director and Assistant Director the SAA duties include: data entry, scheduling meetings, answering phones, & actioning requests from classrooms, teachers and parents. The function of the SAA is to support the management team which is comprised of the Director, Supervisor and the Owners in successfully operating Trust Child Care day to day. The SAA will ensure excellence in client relations while maintaining a relationship of cooperation and respect at all times.** This is a temporary position until the end of June 2024.**

**Major Functions/Responsibilities**:
The overall goal of hiring an SAA for Trust Child Care is to ensure day-to-day operations are functioning as they should and our clients and teaching team are supported as needed. The SAA will support the management team by completing day-to-day operations in a independent and reliable manner, which will allow management to grow and develop the school's overall goals.

**Employee onboarding and ongoing employee file maintenance**:
The SAA will be responsible for inputting and monitoring employee required information into our secure HR platform.

**Client Relations & Client Communication**s: The SAA should strive to deliver excellent customer service at all times as per the Trust Child Care Mission and Vision.

**Employee Relations and Communications**: The SAA is not an employee manager and is not responsible for employee supervision, coaching, evaluation, or appraisal. The SAA is encouraged to provide in the moment or follow up positive feedback to fellow employees

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a childcare setting (2-3 years of professional experience preferred)
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks daily with consistency, passion and positivity
- Must understand that the office completes all types of requests (no reasonable request is outside of the SAA job description)
- Time management & organizational abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Above average verbal and written communication: strong computer skills including - Outlook, Word processing, Excel, presentation software (2-3 years professional experience preferred)
- Demonstrated success in working as a collaborative member of a team
- Demonstrated daily punctuality and reliability
