**Job Summary**:
Salary Pending Review.

This position is located in Thorold, Ontario, and is eligible for Hybrid work arrangements requiring the employee to work 50% of the time on-site and 50% remotely.

**Education**:

- Post-secondary diploma in Electrical or Computer Engineering Technology or Applied Science Program with a specialty in Control Systems or a related discipline.
- Post-secondary degree in Electrical, Computer, Systems Design Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education, experience and qualifications may be considered.

**Knowledge**:

- 3 years of project management experience in areas of initiation, planning, execution (design and field experience), monitoring, controlling, and close out of capital and operating water and wastewater projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley RS Logix suite of products (e.g. GE Proficy iFix and GE Historian), control systems for water and wastewater processes and industrial communication protocols.
- Certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) as a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.).
- Licensed Professional Engineer or Engineering Technologist (L.E.T) with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) is preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge, experience and skills in MS Office suite programs (Word, Excel Outlook) and MS Project or other Project Tracking Systems.
- Knowledge of Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications (OPSS), Ontario Provincial Standard Drawings (OPSD), Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide, all applicable legislation and regulations, such as Occupational Health & Safety Act, Environmental Protection Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, Ontario Water Resources Act, and all water and wastewater standards (American Water Works Assoc., Canadian Standards Assoc., National Sanitation Foundation, etc.).
- Knowledge of Niagara Peninsula Standard Contract Document (NPSCD), Drinking Water Quality Management System (DWQMS) and Waste Water Quality Management System (WWQMS) is preferred.
