Our top government client is looking to hire a **Change Management Consultant** for a **12 - month hybrid contract in Ottawa** (_You will be expected to work on occasion at the Ottawa office location_). Our client is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and agile Change Advisor to support Small Segment initiatives by developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic change requirements in this space. The primary responsibility will be to create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.

**Top Skills**:

- **Minimum 7 years experience in employee and/or organizational effectiveness or change management.**:

- Advanced knowledge of organizational effectiveness or change management principles and practices.
- **Change Management Certification or Designation.**:

- Demonstrate specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in change management consultancy.
- Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to influence change at higher levels.
- Ability to quickly understand and gauge corporate climate and culture.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Experience with change management in an Agile environment

**Responsibilities**
- Work with the Small Segment Program to provide change management services for initiatives. These include the Implementation of the Financial Crime program, Product releases from both Insurance and Working Capital families
- Work with stakeholders at all levels to identify and validate change priorities and assess the level and impact of change.
- Create actionable outcomes for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, and resistance management plan for each initiative.
- Leverage the use of Change Management Methodologies.
- Build relationships with other corporate change support teams where required such as Corporate Communications, Program and Project Management, Business Partners, and Learning and Development to partner in the delivery.
- Coach and mentor the team by sharing relevant change management methodology or facilitation processes, setting up processes so that change activities that are repetitive can then be handled by the project team as required.
- Ensure stakeholder impacts are clear and communicated across dependent project streams and other portfolios/projects.
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress, mitigate risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
