**Business Solution Analyst II**

**Job Summary**: IT Business Solution Analyst role requires a result-driven individual well versed in industry trends on business and technology evolution with a good understanding of the Systems/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) coupled with knowledge in chip, cryptography, and payment card technologies. The role requires a systematic understanding of the vision of the business and translating that vision into understandable requirements for development and testing teams.
** Primary Responsibilities**:

- To be a Technical leader in the workspace
- Facilitate requirements elicitation from clients and business stakeholders to synthesize findings into business/functional /technical requirements and architectural design
- Create a common understanding of the problem and the potential solutions and deliver solutions to internal and external clients in accordance with corporate standards and industry best practices
- Based on the preferred solution, create a decisive plan of action and next steps
- Establish and document business and technical requirements on assigned accounts’ initiatives and projects
- Manage and categorize IT Business and Technical documentation using standard systems and platforms
- Assist in the Business case development of IT projects, IT assessments, certification processes, audits, creation of Statement of Work (SOW) and RFP/RFI responses
- Provide resource allocation assessments for projects and RFPs
- Provide consulting and professional consulting and mentorship services to internal and external clients on payment technologies and solutions for data transfer, data mapping and processing, reporting, cryptography, printing, card production and other technical and related disciplines
- Support IT Quality Control team in preparing test cases
- Participate and support IT Development and Testing
- Assist in the administration of issue logs on assigned projects
- Provide knowledge and expertise to G+D Account Executives to act as an SME and Technology point of contact at G+D
- Possess stakeholder management skills and presentation skills
- Data analysis for gap analysis, risk assessment and statistical analysis.
- Provide coaching to junior BSAs

**Secondary Responsibilities**:

- May require providing key administration and other analytical services
- Require providing backup duties to other members while they are out of the office
- Assist with process improvements, documentation of existing processes, and workflows
- Require gathering business requirements for projects with mínimal technology changes
- Assist with test data entry
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements**: Work Experience:

- Working knowledge of Systems/Software Development Life Cycle and Project Management concepts
- Programming experience with SQL Server, XML, C++, C, Java, Web services, and Data communication methods as an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of programming or technical support and testing experience
- Knowledge of the Payment industry and EMV (Europay, Mastercard and Visa) is an asset
- Knowledge of Mobile Payment technology is preferred
- High level of computer competency in Microsoft Office Products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
- Knowledge and understanding of UML
- Knowledge of SAP Systems, iQ system, MS Power BI, OpenText Dialog Extreme, Confluence, JIRA, Salesforce, SharePoint

Skills and Competencies:

- Strong track record of leading technology solutions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Strong facilitation skills to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis
- Strong understanding of client-server architectures, cryptography concepts and data management methodologies
- Strong understanding of requirement gathering concepts, test and used cases modelling, Jira defect tracking tool and testing methodologies
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
- SAP system knowledge is nice to have
- Analytical, detail-oriented with excellent planning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for actions
- Ability to conceptualize, analyze, and implement efficient workflows
- Ability to work successfully in fast-paced Agile and cross-functional matrix environment
- Superior verbal and written communications skills, including presentation at every level of the organization
