- ** Duration**: Spring 2024 (May 2024 - August 2024; 4 months)
- **Location**:Victoria (our office is situated on the Selkirk Waterfront on the Gorge Inlet. Enjoy stunning views of downtown Victoria and the Olympic mountains and take advantage of the nearby Galloping Goose Regional Trail for walking and biking).
- ** Salary**: $1,819.12 bi-weekly (for students working towards a diploma or bachelor's degree) or $2,136.88 (for students working towards a post-graduate degree)
- ** Grant**:As part of our inVESTED scholarship program, you may be eligible for reimbursement up to a maximum of $1,000 per four-month work term to cover the cost of co-op work term tuition fees.

**The Job Responsibilities**:
This position focuses on the provision of Access management and End User support for workstation hardware, software and attached peripherals. In doing so, this position adheres to ITB Standards for technology, configuration change, and operations. This position is under the leadership and guidance of the Service Desk Supervisor. Assignments will include independent tasks responding to Service Desk request tickets and working with corporate staff to improve the operational infrastructure.

**Requirements**:
This opportunity is available to Computer Science and Software Engineering students.

Knowledge and/or experience in the following areas would be an asset:

- HelpDesk or user support capacity
- Customer Service
- Troubleshooting and resolving Windows software configuration problems
- Troubleshooting and resolving network and local printer problems
- Microsoft Remote Server Administration Tools
- Remote Assistance end user support
- Remote administration tool sets (M365, SCCM, PStools & Active Directory)
- Use of Request Tracking Software
- Remote administration tool sets (SCCM, PStools or Active Directory)
- ITIL v3 Foundations
- Resume
